On the receipt of the amount due, the artwork will be consigned with a catalogue entry to the purchaser. Subsequent transport will be taken care of by the buyer.
The selling price is made up of the price agreed with the owner, the commission due to Bigli Art Broker and 21% v.a.t. calculated on the sole commission.
The owner will be paid directly after the transaction is concluded.
When the artwork is acquired by a client outside Italy, in many cases (when it is older than 50 years) it may be exported only after having obtained an export licence. Bigli Art Broker can apply, on behalf of the client, for this export licence. It takes approximately a month before such an licence is granted.
In the case an export licence is not granted, the payment will be fully and immediately refunded and the sale cancelled.
Vendors payment:
The vendor will be paid within two weeks of the completion of the transaction.
The artwork will be released to the buyer only after the full payment has been received.
