Remarks: Fischetti has done several decorations with this kind of floral decoration. Similar paintings for carriage doors, but done by his contemporary Filippo Falciatore, are preserved in Naples, Museo Duca di Martina (cf. Nicola Spinosa, Pittura napoletana del settecento, dal Barocco al Rococò, p. 154, Tav. 49, 50, 275, 276). These are made for a 'portantina' for Marie Amalia von Saxen.
This painting however is part of a closely related group of works, of which two other panels recently appeared on the market . One (cut to cm. 70 x 57) was sold in Vienna (Dorotheum, april 21, 2010 lot 6) for € 24.700. Another one was offered at Porro's, Milan (may 26, 2010 and cut to cm. 61 x 53) with a quote of 30/40 000. Further related panels are in the Pisani collection, Napes. The whole group by Fischetti is datable to the seventies of the 18th. century.
